Hey there, I'm Chantz Hough

Welcome to the new and improved blog!

I currently reside in dallas but my home is the world. I always have my passport ready and my luggage is ready to go.

Photography is my passion with dreams of a magazine one day.

So why weddings you may ask? Because I love getting to document and tell the story of people in love. I'm a sap I really am and I'm not afraid to admit it.

And Families and Graduates? Well they are just fun to photograph, plain and simple.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year! I get excited thinking about the smells, the music, and getting all the family christmas cards in the mail to decorate my fridge. This is the reason why I’m giving 25 free Christmas cards to the first 5 families to book. CONTACT ME | PORTFOLIO

After Brooke and Stew’s engagement session and getting to know these guys I could not wait for their wedding. Their love for one another is infectious and I knew it was going to be a classy affair. When I showed up and met brooke at the Stonebriar Country Club and saw how happy and excited both her and her mom were I got so much more excited. Then I saw the details! Wow! Words can not tell you how awesome this wedding was.

Then I saw Stew. When I asked him if he was nervous his reply was, “Not at all. I can’t wait to be married.” What a guy! But aside from all the amazing details my favorite part of the whole wedding was the toasts! You could really see how much these guys meant to the people in their lives. I even got a little tear in my eye!

Thank you Brooke and Stew for allowing me to be a part of your wedding!

So the cool thing about this shoot with Theresa was it was the first time I had met her! Theresa found me on google  from Seattle and we have been talking via email, phone, and text messages. It was so fantastic to finally meet this amazing bride. She was laid back and so much fun to shoot, not to mention incredibly beautiful.

For the photogs out there All images were Shot with Nikon d300, 50 mm 1.4 and edited in lightroom and exposure 3.

Ok so as much as I love these two, I’m not going to type much because I have been up since 3 a.m. and it is currently 9:33 and I have to get up at 3 again. So without further typing, Tasha and Tan.

At this point I told Tasha to get the ball.

Oh the power of a woman…
